The Bus Stop was an integral part of SD nightlife in the early 2000's when most clubs were banging nothing but House Music and Jiggy Radio cuts The Bus Stop was bringing that fresh boom bap hip hop and old school flavor. Bringing in world class dj's on a weekly basis.
The Bus Stop is back at El dorado in downtown San Diego every 1st and 3rd Wednesdays.

Thanks to the good folks at El Dorado in believing in our vision of uplifting and highlighting some of our Legendary local talent.
Dj Rags is a True San Diego Legend. You might catch him out and about week in and week out rockin the big SD or Hollywood night spots but you very rarely get to see the man get to catch wreck and just entirely open up his music selection to pretty much whatever he wants. Well this is one of those rare occasions and you get to see what makes this man a SD LEGEND! From his days on the mix at Z90's Hip Hop Shows alongside Kutfather to programming radio stations and throwing down at some of the most legendary clubs in San Diego like 555 Soul where crowds of Hip Hop heads would come week in and week out to hear the man bogard the tables in the middle of the night at a predominately House night and get open to the Golden Era Hip Hop sound for a quick 30-45 minute set. He will be throwing down just that and more through the course of the night.
And to warm up the occation we got Dj Grandmasta Rats aka Dj Ratty who also is a Legend in his own right. Ratty has been at the forefront of the San Diego Hip Hop Nightlife movement since the 90s. Hes made spots "GO TO" spots in San Diego. The guy doesnt care if hes playing at the "IN" spot he makes the spot hes at the "IN" spot.

Aleksander Manfredi (born in San Diego, California), better known by his stage name Exile, is an American hip hop DJ, producer and occasional rapper. His first record appearances came as a member of hip hop duo Emanon alongside rapper Aloe Blacc. They released various singles beginning with 1998's "P.S.I." before releasing their debut album, Anon & On. After 2002, Exile went on to release one more Emanon album well as a solo album, 2006's Dirty Science, and another collaborative effort, 2007's Below the Heavens. The latter album was critically acclaimed for Exile's productions and raps by new artist Blu. Exile's guest production work with artists including Mobb Deep, Ghostface Killah, Kardinal Offishall and Jurassic 5 is also renowned. He claims his influences to be contemporary producers J Dilla, Jon Brion and Madlib.[1] He is known for "coarsely chopped beats" that give off "laid back soulful vibes.
